About Underwater Songs

Underwater Songs is a collection of songs written by pianist and composer Luís Figueiredo throughout 2022-2024. Some of them are in English, others in Portuguese, and one in Spanish. The songs are mostly ballads. They sound simple and unpretentious, and yet there is something very meaningful about them. They seem to promote feelings of memory and loss and to create a visual imaginary that is close to photography and film.
